🚨 THURSDAY ROUTES: CANCELLED (ICE WINS) 🚨
Alright y’all, here’s the deal:
We’ve had people out boots-on-the-ground, road-checking, slipping, sliding, and sending us photo evidence like it’s CSI: County Road Edition. 🕵️♂️📸
And the verdict is unanimous:
These roads are ICY, sketchy, and trying to kill trash trucks.
Unfortunately:
❌ We do not have a trash truck helicopter
❌ We do not have trash drones
❌ We are not Trash Truck Prime
So… Thursday routes will NOT be run this week.
👉 GOOD NEWS: Two weeks’ volume WILL be picked up next Thursday.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience, but while we are definitely sexy…
✨ we are NOT superheroes ✨
and we are absolutely not ice-proof.
Safety > trash miracles.
Y’all stay warm, stay upright, and we’ll see you next week when Texas remembers how roads are supposed to work. 🛻❄️
NO GO FOR WEDNESDAY – READ CAREFULLY
Roads are still unsafe, and our trucks will NOT be running Wednesday.
Let’s be very clear:🛑 Trash is not more important than human life. Not our employees’. Not other motorists’. Not anyone’s.
We love Jesus but we prefer to meet Him on His schedule, not because of poor decisions made over trash pickup.
We are extremely grateful for the many customers who are showing common sense, patience, and understanding. We see you, and we truly appreciate you.
Unfortunately, we’ve also received a few hateful and disrespectful messages. That behavior will not be tolerated. Period.
For those who cannot wait:👉 You are welcome to bring your trash to us when someone is available.🚫 Our trucks WILL NOT be running.🚫 Trucks are currently full, and we cannot even make it to the landfill safely.
This is not about convenience. This is about safety, legality, and responsibility.
We will resume service when it is safe and practical to do so. Until then, we appreciate those who understand that doing the right thing isn’t always the easy thing.

🚨 TUESDAY, Jan 27th 2026, ROUTE UPDATE – STILL A HARD “NOT TODAY, TEXAS” 🚨
Well y’all…We slept on it.We looked outside again. We even did that Texas thing where you stare at the road real serious like it might get scared and dry itself.
It did not.
So despite yesterday’s five-star ice-skating debut, JR Disposal will NOT be running routes Tuesday ⛸️🛻
Now… we did briefly consider tying an inner tube to the back of the trash truck and slinging the loaders around trash cans to test traction…But then we remembered:• We like our employees• We like our trucks• And we’d rather not invent a new Olympic sport
Back roads are still slicker than a greased pig at a county fair and about as trustworthy as Texas ice 🧊🐖
📌 Let’s clear this up before the comment section stretches:❌ No pickup Tuesday👉🏼 DOUBLE TRASH will be picked up on your NEXT scheduled pickup day🚫 We are NOT running a day behind💙 We ARE choosing safety over chaos, tow bills, and “y’all okay?” phone calls
Our trucks are tough. Our crew is tougher. But we are not training for the Winter Olympics, Ice Road Trashers, or “Fast & Furious: Trashcan Drift.”
We’ll keep watching the weather and update y’all as soon as Texas decides if it’s winter, spring, or just being dramatic again because this state refuses to commit to a personality.
Stay warm. Stay safe. And please stop challenging the ice like it owes you money.

🚨 MONDAY Jan 26th 2026, ROUTE UPDATE – ABSOLUTELY NOT, TEXAS 🚨
Y’all… JR Disposal will NOT be running routes on Monday. And before anyone asks, no, our trash trucks did not magically turn into ice-skating Olympic athletes overnight ⛸️🛻
Sure, the main roads might look “fine.”But the majority of where we haul is back roads, and those will be slicker than a greased pig at a county fair 🧊🐖That’s a hard nope from us.
📌 Here’s the deal (read it twice if you need to):❌ No pickup Monday👉🏼 DOUBLE TRASH picked up the FOLLOWING Monday🚫 We are NOT running a day behind. We like our team sane, and still speaking to us.
Our crew is tough, but they’re not paid to Tokyo Drift a trash truck down an icy dirt road. And just like the rest of Texas, we believe weekends are for family, warm food, and not working nonstop like feral raccoons 🦝🔥
👇 Before the comments start rollin’ in:We will update everyone about Tuesday routes as soon as we see what this weather decides to do, because Texas weather wakes up every morning and chooses violence.
We appreciate y’all’s patience, your understanding, and your sense of humor. Stay warm, stay safe, and keep those lids shut unless you want your trash touring the neighborhood 💨🗑️

JR DISPOSAL – IMPORTANT SERVICE NOTICERegarding Upcoming Rate AdjustmentDecember 15th, 2025
Dear Family, Friends, and Neighbors,
We want to personally thank you for trusting JR Disposal with your waste service. Many of you are not just customers to us, you are neighbors, friends, and members of the same communities we live in and are proud to serve.
We never like having to raise rates, and this decision was not made lightly. We have prayed about this at length and carefully evaluated every option available to us. Unfortunately, due to continued inflation and significant increases in the cost of operating our business, a rate adjustment has become necessary.
Over time, we have experienced substantial increases in several key areas, including:
• Commercial insurance, which has nearly doubled and continues to rise year after year
• Equipment, maintenance, and truck costs, including the purchase, maintenance, and repair of the best equipment and trucks in the industry, along with the parts and skilled labor required to keep them running reliably
• Landfill and disposal fees, which have increased steadily and directly impact every route we run
• Regulatory, compliance, and operational fees, which are required to operate legally and responsibly and continue to grow each year
• Employee cost of living, wages, and benefits, as we are committed to taking care of our team so we can continue to attract and retain the very best people
Our employees are the backbone of JR Disposal. Investing in them allows us to maintain dependable service, consistent routes, and the level of care our customers have come to expect.
Even with this adjustment, we want you to know that JR Disposal remains competitively priced, and we are still less expensive than most competitors, especially when compared to companies operating with the same or lower standards. We proudly operate with the best equipment and trucks in the industry, and we stand behind the quality of service we provide.
We are also honored to have been voted Best of Palo Pinto County and Best of Parker County for five years in a row. This is an achievement that reflects our commitment to excellence and the trust our communities place in us.
As a locally owned and operated company, our values guide every decision we make. We will continue to provide the best service in our area, give back to our communities, support local causes, and put God first in all that we do.
If you have any questions about your account or would like to discuss your options, our office team is always happy to help.
Thank you for your understanding, your loyalty, and your continued support of a local, family-owned business.
With sincere gratitude,The JR Disposal Team
