We want to personally thank you for trusting JR Disposal with your waste service. Many of you are not just customers to us, you are neighbors, friends, and members of the same communities we live in and are proud to serve.
We never like having to raise rates, and this decision was not made lightly. We have prayed about this at length and carefully evaluated every option available to us. Unfortunately, due to continued inflation and significant increases in the cost of operating our business, a rate adjustment has become necessary.
Over time, we have experienced substantial increases in several key areas, including:
• Commercial insurance, which has nearly doubled and continues to rise year after year
• Equipment, maintenance, and truck costs, including the purchase, maintenance, and repair of the best equipment and trucks in the industry, along with the parts and skilled labor required to keep them running reliably
• Landfill and disposal fees, which have increased steadily and directly impact every route we run
• Regulatory, compliance, and operational fees, which are required to operate legally and responsibly and continue to grow each year
• Employee cost of living, wages, and benefits, as we are committed to taking care of our team so we can continue to attract and retain the very best people
Our employees are the backbone of JR Disposal. Investing in them allows us to maintain dependable service, consistent routes, and the level of care our customers have come to expect.
Even with this adjustment, we want you to know that JR Disposal remains competitively priced, and we are still less expensive than most competitors, especially when compared to companies operating with the same or lower standards. We proudly operate with the best equipment and trucks in the industry, and we stand behind the quality of service we provide.
We are also honored to have been voted Best of Palo Pinto County and Best of Parker County for five years in a row. This is an achievement that reflects our commitment to excellence and the trust our communities place in us.
