For the continued safety of our employees and other motorists, Unfortunately JR Disposal will not run Friday, February 3rd as we had hoped and planned for.
Some roads are safe for travel; however, many of the less traveled roads that we must access in rural and residential areas remain covered in ice. The shoulder of roads and driveways are still extremely dangerous. With temperatures well below freezing last night, the hazardous road conditions have continued into the early hours. Although we do expect many areas to melt off around or after noon today, this does not give us adequate time to load trucks and safely make it to the landfill.
Next week will prove to be a long week for us. The overwhelming volume may run us a little behind but rest assured, as always, we will get the job done and work into the weekend if need be. We will be prepared to pick up 2 weeks accumulation. Please put all extra bagged trash beside or behind your container on your regular scheduled day and we will make sure you are taken care of.
We appreciate your patience and kindness and will see you on the route!
Have a Blessed weekend!
